This position will report to the Warehouse Manager at the Colonial Heights, VA branch.

Key Tasks:

  • Assist with processes and all aspects of customers sales ordering, invoicing and questions.
  • Customer account management including; sales orders, prepays, invoicing, troubleshooting and reports requested.
  • Performs administrative duties including; data entry, mail, answer telephones, radio communication, customer files, reports and office correspondence.
  • Receive in inventory, keep accurate inventory and costs.
  • Handles accounts receivable and payables.
  • Coordinate all new hire/rehire paperwork.
  • Follow all Crop Production Services Safety Rules.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Present professional image to our customer through personal appearance and overall branch cleanliness.
  • Assembles customer orders
  • May be responsible to load and unload trucks
  • Fork lift operation
  • Other Duties as assigned.
  • Good attendance required

The Ideal Candidate

Outside of the skills and necessary qualifications, our ideal candidate must be committed to achieving superior results with integrity and sustaining our safe and positive work environment while having the ability to embrace working side by side others in a diverse culture.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred with agricultural background.
  • Proficient with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office.
  • Proficient math skills in weights and measures, dry and liquid.
  • Willing to work extended hours during peak season. 5-6 days per week and 10-12 hour days.
  • Ability to travel to other locations, meetings and training.
  • Class B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement will be required
