This position will report directly to Technical Services Manager at the Conda facility in Soda Springs, Idaho. They will be an integral part of the Technical Services team. This role will work closely with Senior Engineers within the group to earn the experience needed to execute projects.

Key Tasks:

  • Support Plant and Mine capital improvement projects.
  • Manage projects from inception to commissioning while maintaining high safety performance and project costs.
  • Work closely with operations and maintenance through the planning and execution of projects.
  • Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction of engineering projects.
  • Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design; specifications and safety standards.
  • Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis on issues/concerns with a project.
  • Maintain the project budget and report to senior leaders of progress.
  • Analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints.
  • Maintain an understanding on piping and vessel codes (API, ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII).

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skill.
  • Highly motivated and takes initiative.
  • Strong work ethic and a further desire to learn.
  • Able to perform Civil/Mechanical calculations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 0- 3 years of experience, industrial experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of the FE/EIT.
  • Legally able to work in the United States.
