Loveland Products Inc., a division of CPS, offers a complete line of high performance crop input products including seed treatment, plant performance, nutritionals, adjuvant and crop protection products. Loveland Products brings new, unique chemistries to the marketplace to provide innovative solutions to problems across the agricultural and professional non-crop industries.

Key Tasks:

  • Provide lab support by analyzing production raw materials, in-process, final product and retention
  • Assist with analytical method development and validation
  • Work with laboratory instruments such as pH meter, analytical balance, Densitometer, KF titrator, Acid titrator, Gas Chromatograph, HPLC, and NIR Spectrometer.
  • Perform troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities on laboratory
  • Perform wet chemistry methods such as dilutions, filtrations, emulsion tests, and insoluble
  • Conduct QA inspection audits on incoming raw materials, in-process, and final products.
  • Assist with writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
  • Interact professionally with other departments, customer representatives and regulatory
  • Abide by all Safety Policies and
  • Perform QC Lab monthly Safety Inspections.

Skills, Education, Qualifications:

  • At least 2 semesters of college chemistry or equivalent work experience in a lab
  • Excellent mathematical
  • Proficient computer skills (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
  • Must be a self-starter and possess effective communication skills with the ability to interact with plant personnel on a daily
  • Proven multi-tasking skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent documentation and organization
  • Ability to work various shifts as needed.

Desired Skills:

  • Chromatography software experience (Total Chrom, Chem Station, and or Empower chromatography software).
  • Tiamo software experience.
  • Quant Lab Software experience.
  • Technical writing experience.
  • Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) experience.
