The Seed Accounting intern is a temporary, seasonal position in the seed accounting department designed for current or recently graduated college students in the accounting or finance field. The intern will chiefly assist with the annual cotton technology royalty reconciliation and replant analysis but may also be asked to assist in GL reconciliations, creation of entries needed to correct or close activity, or process supplier marketing payments.

Key Tasks:

  • Preparation of reconciliation files used to balance cotton technology liabilities with supplier reports.
  • Researching variances to determine the course of action needed to correct them and preparing communications. to suppliers or field personnel to make the corrections.
  • Prepare a log of incoming program and replant checks to pass to Accounts Receivable.
  • Assist with Seed Goal templates.
  • Ad hoc projects as requested.

  • Strong integrity and business ethics.

  • Solid Excel Knowledge.


  • Working toward or recently completed BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
