Reporting to the Manager, Engineering, theInstrumentation & Process Control Engineeris responsible for engineering oversight, review and analysis of instrumentation and process control systems for our ammonia and urea plants.

Key Tasks:

  • Design of new or improved instrumentation and process control systems
  • Developing and managing the scope, schedule and budget for new or improved instrumentation and process control projects
  • Executing the Management of Change (MOC) process for instrumentation and process control systems
  • Creating Authorizations for Expenditures (AFE's)
  • Oversee the technical aspects of the DCS, BMS and SIS instrumentation systems
  • Analyze operability and reliability trends, providing feedback from instrumentation and control systems to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and execute projects to maintain, upgrade and improve the reliability of plant instrumentation and control systems

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering - preference in Electrical Engineering

  • A minimum 5 years experience working in the instrumentation and process control field
  • Experience with instrumentation, electrical, and control systems
  • Experience working with safety instrumented systems
  • Industrial Plant experience is a must
  • Safety Leader
  • Possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
