Reporting to the Manager, Operations Accounting, the Project Coordinator, Acquisition Integration will be a member of a dynamic team, whose primary responsibilities include: Liaison between internal stakeholders, Mergers and Acquisition department, and selling agent to facilitate the timely integration of newly acquired locations


  • Oversee all merger and acquisition integration activities for our North American Retail operations.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining an Integration Playbook detailing each functional team’s acquisition process.
  • Work closely with the Mergers and Acquisitions department to create an acquisition timeline.
  • Configure integration plan and processes specific to the particular aspects of the assigned integration project.
  • Coordinate and guide functional team leads and functional team members on the processes and objectives of the integration process.
  • Coordinate, plan and track each integration effort and alert functional team leads to any obstacles that may alter the integration timeline.
  • Work with the seller and functional team leads to ensure the timely collection and transfer of information pertinent for the acquisition integration.
  • Point of contact for employees of the new acquisition and for business users with questions regarding acquisitions.
  • Ensure proper communication to stakeholders on the status of acquisitions.
  • Challenge the status quo to improve current processes and increase shareholder value.
  • Potentially some travel related to new acquisition sites.

TheIdeal Candidate

Outside of the skills and necessary qualifications, our ideal candidate must be committed to achieving superior results with integrity and sustaining our safe and positive work environment while having the ability to embrace working side by side others in a diverse culture.


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • PMP Certification an asset

  • 1 - 3 years of acquisition integration experience or 5+ years of general business experience is required; experience in project management is considered an asset

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral and listening)

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Mature attitude and ability to deal effectively in a team environment

  • Strong integrity and business ethics
