The Accounts Payable Representative II - Processing will provide an excellent Customer Service experience and perform accounting and clerical tasks related to Accounts Payable transactions. This position requires a variety of administrative/business functions with specialized knowledge of the department operations and coordination across multiple stakeholders. In addition, this position require an in-depth knowledge of the ERP systems related to accounts payable processes, banking, vendor details, etc. Processing will include AP transactions from receipt of request to payment completion.

Key Tasks:

  • Process invoices and payment requests.
  • Correspond with vendors and employees.
  • Research invoices, check requests and various payment types.
  • Resolve issues by preparing corrections, invoices, check requests, voids etc.
  • Research and resolve statements, payment discrepancies.
  • Utilize business acumen and judgment in making decisions.
  • Ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensuring that all payments are sent on time.
  • Resolving payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company.
  • Any other job responsibilities as required by the Company’s discretion.

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • An Associate’s Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 year experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting Required or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in data entry and data management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and general computer skills.
  • Strong numerical skills.
