Reporting to the Sr Supervisor, Accounts Receivable Operations, the AR Customer Service I position is responsible for a wide variety of processes such as answering incoming calls from growers and branch personnel, research and response to inquiries about customer AR accounts, processing checks from branches for electronic deposit, and working with all levels of the organization.

Key Tasks:

  • AR Customer Service phone and email support for growers
  • AR Customer Service phone and email support for branches
  • Communicate with branches regarding payments received
  • Support Accounts Receivable Operations Team with daily check processing - Support AR information requests as needed

Skills:

  • PeopleSoft experience is a plus.
  • Reconciliation Skills - Strong Customer Service aptitude.
  • Ability to perform at high levels in fast paced ever changing work environment.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Self-Motivated and Self-Directed.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong integrity, confidentiality, and business ethics.
  • Ability to lead by example and work well with others.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized institution is a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Customer Service or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Excel, Word) - Knowledge of the retail agriculture business is considered an asset.
