You will work daily beside teams of people who will care about your safety on the job and at home. You will work with the Vanscoy Potash Operations Learning and Development team, reporting to the Team Lead, Global Learning and Development.

Key Tasks:

  • Provide training to all new underground employees
  • Steward and provide mandatory training for all employees underground as specified by legislation and/or site policy
  • Introduce, Communicate and assist in enforcement of Agrium's safety policies and procedures
  • Document, track and enter training information into the learning management system


  • Minimum of 2 years prior work experince in the mining industry
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills, along with the capability to work independently, using sound decision making processes
  • Proven efficiency in written and verbal communications with familiarity in a variety of computer software programs sucha as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Knowledge and experince with an LMS and computer based training (CBT) is an asset
