Reporting to the Mine Operations Senior Supervisor, the Mine Operations Supervisor is responsible for safely executing mine production and safety targets.

Key Tasks:

  • Ensuring production targets are met safety.
  • Providing exemplary safety leadership for production crews.
  • Ensuring mine plans are followed and executed.
  • Supervision of the mine operations crews.
  • Play a critical role not only ensuring your own safety, but also the safety of others. You will have direct accountability for ensuring familiarity and demonstrating the Commitment to Zero policy, leading with a safety mindset and modeling the 3 Safety Principles, modelling the 10 Tenets of Operation and having your own personal safety action plan.

Outside of the skills and necessary qualifications, our ideal candidate must be committed to achieving superior results with integrity and sustaining our safe and positive work environment while having the ability to embrace working side by side others in a diverse culture.

Skills:

  • You bring a strong commitment towards safety and foster a strong positive safety culture.
  • You have the ability to multitask and proactively manage tasks and commitments.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
  • You are accountable for your areas of operation, including all direct and indirect reports.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary education would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.
  • Previous Potash work experience would be considered an asset.
