Your journey begins with the opportunity to grow your career with Agrium Wholesale’sMarketer-in-Training (MIT)Program. If you’re a recent graduate or an individual who is a team player with organizational skills, leadership and more - then we’re looking for you!

The Agrium Wholesale MIT program is designed for the development of new talent to support Agrium Wholesale’s future needs in areas such as Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Logistics and Integrated Business Planning (IBP). The program itself is centered on the concepts of mentorship and development through on-the-job training. During your 2 to 3 years within Agrium’s MIT Program, you will have the opportunity to rotate through roles within Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and IBP at Agrium Wholesale under the guidance of a personal mentor.

As an MIT, you willbe based in our Calgary, Alberta office location and will learn aspects of the following:

  • Sales, Marketing & Customer Service
  • Planning and Analysis
  • Truck & Rail Transportation Logistics

To be successfully selected as an MIT candidate, you must possess the following qualities/qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Business
  • Proven results orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative
  • Able to relocate for positions within Agrium Wholesale’s business areas as required
  • Diversity in cultural experience/language is highly valued
