This role allows you to develop diagnostic agronomy skills and inter-personal skills while providing you insight into the sales, operational and administrative functions of the company. The Crop Scout Assistant is an excellent entry level role and opens the door to future opportunities with Crop Production Services locally and world-wide.

The Ideal Candidate

Outside of the skills and necessary qualifications, our ideal candidate must be committed to achieving superior results with integrity and sustaining our safe and positive work environment while having the ability to embrace working side by side others in a diverse culture.

Qualifications

  • Valid Drivers License –Class 3A required
  • Must be a safety conscious, team player
  • WHMIS and TDG certification preferred but will provide if needed
  • Agricultural background an asset
  • Preference will be given to applicants with Anhydrous Ammonia experience
  • Must supply current Commercial Drivers Abstract with Application
  • Must be able to work flexible long hours and various start times
  • Provide high levels of customer service
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read county maps accurately
  • Will be required to maintain accurate records of product delivery
  • Ability to meet the CPS policy requirement by completing a Criminal background check, Drug/alcohol testing, and Driving Record Abstract
